Refund Policy

VerixID operates on an immutable ledger architecture. Once data is recorded, it cannot be altered or deleted—not even by our internal engineering team. Our refund policy is built directly around this technical reality, rather than arbitrary commercial terms. We are committed to fairness, absolute transparency, and alignment with how our infrastructure functions.

1. Record ID Activation

Record ID activation fees are fully refundable within 7 days of the activation date, subject to one primary condition:

The Ownership Key has not yet been used for public verification or ownership claims.

Utilizing the Ownership Key constitutes full consumption of the service. Once the key is engaged, refunds are no longer available.

This rule applies to both monthly and annual activation fees. Refunded amounts will exclude any actual transaction fees charged by the payment gateway, which are strictly non-refundable.

2. Certificate of Authenticity (COA)

COA issuance fees are strictly non-refundable once the certificate has been successfully generated and delivered.

A COA packages cryptographic proof, an absolute timestamp, and ownership verification tied to a specific Record ID. Because the generation process is final and irrevocable, the service is deemed fully executed the moment the document becomes available.

3. File Submission

Submitting file fingerprints to the VerixID ledger is completely free of charge. Because no payment is collected upon submission, refund policies do not apply to this tier.

Note: Ledger entries created during submission are permanent and immutable. Submissions cannot be retracted or deleted, regardless of the billing status of any other associated services.

4. Why These Terms Apply

VerixID's ledger infrastructure is engineered on a write-once principle. There are no edit or delete functions for recorded entries. When a Record ID is activated, its supporting data is already anchored in the ledger and fulfilling its function as authentic proof.

COA generation is non-refundable because its intrinsic value lies in the issuance process itself—once created, it exists permanently as an irrevocable formal document.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us through our Contact page within the designated eligibility window. Please include the following details:

Record ID
Email address associated with the payment.
A brief explanation for the refund request.

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–6 business days.

6. Policy Summary

Record ID Activation — 7-day refund window (provided it has not been publicly verified).
Certificate of Authenticity (COA) — Non-refundable once issued.
File Submission — Free of charge, non-applicable.
